Olympic Torch Relay Train visits the Meridian Speedway
The slide shows on this page represent a road trip taken by Patrick Harris, Michael Palmieri, Shawn Levy, Steven Palmieri and myself to see the Union Pacific Olympic Torch Relay Train operate over the Meridian Speedway. The date was 24 May 1996. This trip began in New Orleans with a visit to the ICRR McComb, MS yard en route to the Speedway at Vicksburg, MS. We were able to chase the Olympic Torch Train between Vicksburg, MS and Jackson, MS with several photo locations.
